VET in Europe Reports
The country reports on VET – with the title VET in [country] – provide an overview of the VET systems in all EU Member States plus Iceland and Norway. Up until 2011 the country reports were compiled on the basis of joint guidelines regarding contents, which makes it possible to compare the information contained in the reports between countries. Since 2012 it has been mainly upon the Member States themselves to decide on the contents, although these need to cover given thematic areas. The country reports are updated annually (depending on the scope of the respective ReferNet work programme, the intervals between updates can be longer).
As well as these more comprehensive reports, short descriptions – Spotlight on VET in [country] – are also written about the VET systems of all EU Member States plus Iceland and Norway. These spotlights are (as a rule) updated annually.
On the occasion of its EU Council Presidency, each country additionally draws up a Short description of the respective VET system.
